LEED Construction and Green Home Building with AQUS®
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System® promotes green building construction practices by the creation and implementation of a national accepted benchmark for the design of environmentally friendly buildings. The LEED system encompasses energy efficiency, water conservation and other areas of sustainability. LEED green building has been adopted by architects, engineers, developers and other professionals who wish to encourage environmental excellence.
AQUS® Green Bathrooms: Home and Industrial Water Recycling
AQUS® can be a part of LEED green home building and industrial building projects and ultimately green bathroom construction. LEED points can be applied due to the home and industrial water recycling benefits of our patented system. A LEED accredited engineer has reviewed the AQUS® system and provided his opinion as to the number of applicable points. This opinion is supported by tests conducted as part of a LEED Water Efficiency Credit Review.
LEED Certified Building Professionals
The AQUS® can be an effective tool for the environmental-interest professional. As part of LEED certified building projects, AQUS® can contribute to water efficiency, waste water, and innovation points within the LEED rating system. LEED construction professionals are encouraged to contact WaterSaver for more information about how AQUS® can support green building initiatives.
